The perspective is to enhance the preserved fonds and the resources invested in digitisation technologies, and at the same time to increase and further qualify the services offered to users. Each volume of the series, consisting of about 150 pages, publishes a selection of significant articles from the various periodicals, organised around a theme, preceded by a critical introduction and accompanied by an annotated bibliography. The series thus conceived is flanked by volumes dedicated to a single publication, specific catalogues and so on. The Library’s website hosts part of the prepared texts and selections of the collected material accompanied by short presentations and outline bibliographies, reproductions of titles and significant images, all organised on the basis of hypertext links. In this way, a specialised archive is constituted from which it will be possible to find hints and tips for degree and doctoral theses, specialised research, etc.
At the same time, a veritable publishing series gives depth and stability to the material – often volatile and difficult to cite in research – placed on the site. Each volume may thus be adopted at the university teaching of the various levels, and will have a preview on the site as an information and publicity tool. <\/span><\/p>\nThe series<\/strong><\/h4>\n
